On Friday 13th of July 2012, the constitutive meeting for The Maritime Innovative Territories International Network was held in Brest, France. David Horat, the Chief Information Officer of PLOCAN, was there to sign the new agreement and discuss over the future objectives and difficulties on the blue economy or maritime economy. This new international network consists of partners from Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Argentina, Mexico, United States, China and Vietnam among others.
On Friday June 22 Peter Marrero and Elsa Reyes belonging to the company Aerogeneradores Canarios SA, conducted the conference "ACSA, wind turbine plant in Gran Canaria and TEAF" within PLOCAN Learning Plan.
