AFRICAGUA – the International Forum on Water and Renewable Energy – was held in Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura) on the 19-20th November 2015, in order to provide a space to raise awareness of the opportunities Africa offers in terms of water and renewable energy projects, at the same time as bringing together organisations from different countries and promoting the potential of the Canary Islands in this area.

On 12th and 13th November, the Hydrographic Institute of Portugal held a Workshop on Marine Technologies at its headquarters in Lisbon. The main focus of the event was to share knowledge and identify opportunities to cooperate and conduct business between institutions and companies from the public and private sectors linked to marine and maritime science and technology in the context of Blue Growth.
