The second edition of the Hydrographic Engineering Conference organized again by Hydrographic Institute (IH) in Lisbon took place between 20 and 22 June at IH’s headquarters in the capital city of Portugal.
Once again, the event highlighted by good organization and the large number –near hundred- and quality of scientific work both oral and posters presented. As innovation in this edition, notes a specific session related to underwater vehicles, where PLOCAN contribute with anoral presentation on underwater gliders titled: “UNDERWATER GLIDERS: Improving the ocean observing strategy in the Macaronesian región” (C. Barrera, MJ Rueda, E. Brito-Azevedo, MD. Gelado, C. Correia, L. Cardona and O. LLinas).
