PLOCAN took part in "Macaronight, European Researchers’ Night" in Santa Catalina Park in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. This is a public event, held throughout Europe, dedicated to popular science and learning through games funded by Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions. It takes place every September with some 30 countries and over 300 cities participating. The objective of European Researchers’ Night is to bring science and the daily life of researchers to the general public, around projects being implemented in Macaronesia.

PLOCAN took part in “Macaronight, European Researchers’ Night with the Educational Marine Robotics initiative EDUROVs, which was organised this year as part of the project "ROVSTEAM - Developing STEAM competencies through Low Cost Educational Marine Robotics"

This activity is also part of the project "CODIMAR - Communication and Scientific Dissemination of Activities in the Marine Maritime Sector" in its action to support the dissemination of events and projects. Both projects are being carried out with the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECyT) - Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, La Caixa Bank Charity Foundation (Obra Social) and the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.
