The PLOCAN consortium has acquired a containerised hyperbaric chamber in order to increase the safety of underwater activities in the surroundings of the Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands, as well as in other locations where the chamber could be easily moved as it is containerised.

The hyperbaric chamber is part of the equipment strategy included in the PLOCAN roadmap in order to respond to the operational needs of the infrastructure, which will carry out several underwater activities.

On 12th January PLOCAN and the University Foundation of Las Palmas have signed a framework agreement to promote the employment of university graduates and vocational training through the dual training programme "Inserta".

The ”Inserta” programme is aimed at improving access to employment, by organising periods of theoretical and practical training in companies or public or private organisations, which enable beneficiaries to complete or acquire technical and generic skills currently in demand.
