On Friday May 18th, Verónica Mesa González gave the talk entitled: "Abengoa Hidrógeno. Hydrogen for a sustainable world", part of the Continuous Training Plan of PLOCAN.

Verónica Mesa Vélez-Bracho holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). In 2005 she joined the Abengoa Hidrógeno SA (before Hynergreen Technologies, Inc.) where she does her work performing Research and Development in the fields of hydrogen and fuel cells as responsible for the Systems Engineering Division.

During the talk, Veronica presented the activities that Abengoa Hidrógeno is developing nowadays, which includes the design, assembly, construction, operation and maintenance of fuel cell based installations and their components, and also the production, storage and use of hydrogen as fuel. Veronica also emphasized the fact that Abengoa Hidrógeno is a company highly focused on Research and Development in a novel and revolutionary area and occupies a leading position on the home and international markets in the fields in which it operates.
