The manager of PLOCAN, J. Joaquín Hernández Brito opened the II Environmental Education Networking in the Teacher Center (CEP) in Telde the last 4th June.
This meeting tries to be a teaching tool for the development of basic competences in the renewable energy and save energy fields, between others.

The manager talked about the role of the Oceanic Platform on the Canary Islands in the implementation of marine renewable energies in Canary Islands, especially in projects that PLOCAN developed in its test bed with prototypes and new equipment that in the future could be the energy generators of the canary community.
Moreover the manager, in collaboration with Daura Vega (Training and Dissemination Program) tried to show the material made by PLOCAN that teachers can use in this field which can be download from the website.
