- MINIMUM DISTANCE BETWEEN HARBOUR AND WORKING AREA: 10 NAUTICAL MILES (1.5 Hours of navigation).
WORKING PLAN:
1.- Discrete hydrological sampling with a multiparameter probe to take biogeochemical samples (temperature, salinity, pH, chlorophyll, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, metals, gases and nutrients) in the area (ICCM, IEO, ULPGC, IGN)
2.- Cetaceans sightings (ULL)
3.- Possible collection of biological solid from surface (IGN, PLOCAN, IEO)
4.- There will be a permanent communication between the pilots of the gliders and the scientists onboard for any requirement that may arise from both sides (PLOCAN).
