Contratación de Personal Técnico de Apoyo para Validación, mantenimiento y puesta punto de la sensórica meteo-oceanográfica. Apoyo a a Unidad de Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación

The Oceanic Platform of the Canary Islands (PLOCAN) is a joint initiative between the Government of Spain - Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness (MINECO) and the Government of the Canary Islands - Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI), with the support of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The mission of PLOCAN is to provide access and support to unique facilities to test innovative scientific-technological concepts in coastal and oceanic environments. Its facilities consist of a multipurpose ocean platform, a marine test site and a marine observatory. PLOCAN presents a profitable combination of services, such as accommodation, operation and data provision. The vision of PLOCAN is to become a leading infrastructure worldwide, promoting value-added services, attracting national and international users and responding to the challenges of R & D & i in the maritime and maritime sectors, helping to maintain the European Union at the forefront of this sector.

The proposed activity object of this aid consists in the validation, maintenance and tunning of the meteo-oceanographic sensors used in PLOCAN’s buoys and other observation devices. This activity will also involve support for the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Unit of PLOCAN.
